Longan is a tropical fruit tree from southern China. The name is derived from Chinese and means dragon's eye. The fruits are aromatic and refreshing, they taste sweet and sour. They are used in fruit juices and teas, in salads and hot meals. Traditional Chinese medicine Longan recommends for calming and strengthening.
