Return policy

This document is a practical guide on how consumers can exercise the right of withdrawal within 14 days and how business customers (B2B) can return goods under our contractual policy.

Withdrawal/returns are governed by our Terms and Conditions and applicable legal regulations; in case of any discrepancy, the Terms and mandatory legal provisions shall prevail.

Quick summary (consumer)

  • As a consumer, you can withdraw from the purchase contract within 14 calendar days from receiving the goods, without giving any reason.
  • It is sufficient to send us your notice of withdrawal no later than the last day of the period (e.g., by e‑mail).
  • Then send the goods back without undue delay, no later than 14 days from your withdrawal.
  • The consumer bears the direct cost of returning the goods (unless specific information for certain goods states otherwise).
  • We refund your payment within 14 days of being informed about your withdrawal; however, we may withhold the refund until we receive the goods or you provide evidence that you have sent them back.
  • We also refund the delivery cost to you, but only up to the cost of the cheapest standard delivery method we offered.

1. How to withdraw (consumer)

You can send your withdrawal notice by e‑mail to: info@asianfoodshop.eu, or by post (recommended) to the return address stated below.

To speed things up, please include your order/invoice number, contact details and (if it is not possible to refund using the same payment method) your bank account details for the refund.

You may withdraw by any clear statement (e.g., by e‑mail). For convenience, you can also use the model withdrawal form here in WORD and PDF

2. Where to send the returned goods

Return address: Na Kopci 426/1b, 735 64 Havířov – Dolní Suchá, Czech Republic

We recommend packaging the parcel properly, enclosing order identification (e.g., the order number) and keeping proof of posting.

3. Time limits (consumer)

  • The 14‑day withdrawal period starts on the day after you receive the goods (for multiple goods delivered separately, from receipt of the last item/part).
  • The 14‑day return period starts from the day you inform us of your withdrawal (the deadline is met if you send the goods back no later than the last day).

4. Refund (consumer)

We refund all payments received, including delivery costs (but only up to the cost of the cheapest standard delivery method we offered).

We refund using the same payment method you used, unless we agree otherwise.

We will refund within 14 days from being informed about your withdrawal; however, we may withhold the refund until we receive the goods or you provide evidence of having sent them back.

5. Return costs (consumer)

The consumer bears the direct cost of returning the goods.

If certain goods cannot be returned by ordinary post due to their nature, information about possible return costs (e.g., collection by a carrier) will be provided in the product details in the online store.

6. Diminished value (consumer)

You are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. We may set off such diminished value against the amount to be refunded.

7. When withdrawal is not possible (consumer) – typical exceptions

The right of withdrawal does not typically apply, in particular, to:

  • goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised,
  • goods which are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly,
  • sealed goods which were unsealed after delivery and cannot be returned for health protection or hygiene reasons,
  • digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, if performance has begun with your prior express consent and acknowledgement that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal.

8. Free gift with the order

If a free gift was provided together with the goods, you must return the gift together with the goods when you withdraw from the purchase contract.

BUSINESS RETURNS (B2B)

For business customers, this is not the statutory consumer right of withdrawal, but a contractual return policy under our Terms and Conditions.

9. Who can return and when (B2B)

A business customer may return goods without giving any reason within 14 calendar days from receiving the goods (“return of goods”), subject to the conditions below.

10. Conditions of return (B2B)

The return is subject to the goods being:

  • unused and undamaged,
  • complete (including accessories, manuals, etc.),
  • returned in the original packaging.

If the conditions are not met, we may refuse the return or send the goods back to the business customer at their cost.

11. Exceptions (B2B)

The return policy typically does not apply to customised goods or to goods which, due to their nature, cannot reasonably be accepted back.

12. Costs and liability (B2B)

The business customer bears the cost of returning the goods and is liable for any loss or damage caused by incompleteness or damage to the returned goods.
