Sambal is a spicy spice paste from Indonesia made from red chili peppers. Sambal manis is quite spicy but milder than sambal oelek and is enriched with onion, garlic and ketjap manis, a sweet Indonesian soy sauce. It has a spicy, sweet taste. It is excellent as a dip for grilled food, but is also ideal for enriching soups, stir-fries and stews.
Ingredients: ground red chilli 36%, ground onion ( sulphite), sugar, brown sugar, sunflower oil, flavour, lemongrass laos, garlic, preservatives E202, E211, E260.
