Custard is mainly used as a dessert, as a dessert base, or as a dessert cream filling. Use custard instead of cream or ice cream with your favorite dessert or cake. Some of our favorite desserts that go well with custard are Fruit strudel, fruit crumble and baked apples. Add sliced banana to the bowl, top with pudding and sprinkle with desiccated coconut for a delicious coconut-banana pudding. Top fresh or canned fruit with warm pudding. You can add crushed nuts or seeds for texture.
