If you do not dare to cook Asian specialties yourself, you can try mixed mixtures from which you can easily cook your favorite food. Kare kare is a popular Filipino holiday food consisting of oxtail, beets, Chinese cabbage, peanuts and sweet potatoes. It is often prepared from pork.
Instructions for preparation - Cut 1 kg of oxtail or pork knuckle and boil it softly in 2.5 l of water. Set the meat aside and add 200g of eggplant, 200g of green beans to the broth and cook for 2 minutes. Prepare the peanut sauce by mixing the contents of the package into 250 ml of broth and adding 170 g of unsalted peanut butter. Return the meat to the basic broth, add the prepared peanut sauce and 200g of Chinese cabbage. Season with and serve with rice and fried shrimp paste (bagoong).
