Kai Yang chicken marinade for the preparation of traditional Thai chicken.
Ingredients: soybean oil, sugar, garlic, hydrolysed plants of soybeans (salt, corn, wheat), salt, lemongrass, coriander, maltodextrin, pepper, turmeric, herbs and spices, mustard.
Allergens - soy, wheat, mustard
Preparation: Thai Barbeque Chicken (kai Yang) Serves 4
. 1 packet Thai Barbeque Chicken marinade
. 900 g (2 lb) chicken pieces or whole chicken legs
. 2 tbsp vegetable oil
. lettuces and / or tomatoes as garnish (optional)
Step 1. marinade chicken with Marinade and oil. Cover and leave for at least 1 hour.
Step 2. To charcoal/electric grill: Baste at least twice with remaining marinade. Turn occasionally.
To roast/bake: Pre-heat oven to 190°C (375°F) and roast for 30-45 minutes or until cooked.
Baste at least twice with remaining marinade.
To fry: Pan fry on medium heat until golden brown.
