Japanese Curry Paste Kare Raisu is a blend designed for making traditional Japanese curry. It contains carefully selected spices and ingredients for an authentic taste and aroma.
It is used to make the sauce for the dish 'Kare Raisu', which is traditionally served with rice. It goes well with meat, vegetables or tofu and is ideal for lovers of Asian cuisine.
Ingredients: onion, soybean oil, salt, brown sugar, water, ginger, garlic, honey, red chilli, yeast extract, hydrolysed vegetable protein (Soya, corn), black pepper, herbs and spices, cumin, coriander, turmeric, cardamom, cinnamon, flavour enhancer: E635, acidity regulator: E296.

Directions for preparation- In a medium hot pan with a tablespoon of oil add 200g of chicken or beef and 100g of onion all cut into small pieces. Saute for 1 minute. Add 440ml water, AHG paste, 250g potatoes and 100g carrots, all cut into small pieces. Cook uncovered for 15 minutes. Thicken with flour whisked into the water and cook for a further 5 minutes until the curry has thickened. Serve hot with rice.
